Georgi is co-founder and managing partner of BrightCap Ventures, an early-stage VC investing in SEE. Since 2018, BrightCap has backed 36 companies across two funds, with five exits to date.

Before BrightCap, Georgi was a first-round employee and partner at Sciant (acquired by VMware in 2007), then co-founded airline software company Aviaso and scaled it as COO until Honeywell acquired it in 2015.

Alongside investing, he brings hands-on experience in software engineering, product design and aviation, plus a clinician’s perspective on healthcare from his master’s degree in dental medicine.
