Gilad Ayalon is the Senior Director of Product Management at Rakuten Viber. He oversees product development for messaging, calls, groups, and AI features, and manages fraud prevention. Gilad is central to the Viber experience, shaping how hundreds of millions of people communicate and how that value becomes a sustainable business.

One of his current focus areas is bringing AI into everyday conversation in a way people trust and keep using, including Viber’s global partnership with OpenAI.

Before Viber, Gilad led product teams at Similarweb, Meta, and eBay, scaling consumer products and building the teams behind them. He holds an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and a B.Sc. in Industrial Engineering from Tel Aviv University.
